Dades Join us on an unforgettable 3-day desert adventure from Marrakech to Merzouga, located in the stunning southeast of Morocco. Travel in comfort in a modern, air-conditioned 4×4 vehicle or minibus as you explore breathtaking landscapes and historic sites. Your journey begins at 8:00 a.m., when our professional guide picks you up from your hotel in Marrakech. From there, we head toward the majestic Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass before descending to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
Although often referred to as a single kasbah, Ait Ben Haddou is actually a fortified village made up of six kasbahs surrounded by ancient walls. Walking through its narrow streets feels like stepping back in time to the era of gladiators, desert nomads, and traditional markets. After a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant within the kasbah. Our journey continues to Ouarzazate, known as “The Gateway to the Desert.” This cinematic city has been the backdrop for many famous films, including The Mummy and Lawrence of Arabia. We will take a short break here to admire the scenery and relax at a café before continuing our adventure. In the late afternoon, we travel to the beautiful Dades Valley.
Upon arrival, you will settle into a charming private guesthouse, where you can unwind in a comfortable room with a private bathroom. In the evening, enjoy a delicious traditional Moroccan dinner and experience the warm hospitality of the region. Your first night of the 3-day Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour will be spent in Dades Valley.
Desert camp On the second day of Our 3 days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, we will have a hearty breakfast in our guest house and depart for the Todra Gorge. The Todra Gorge will leave you speechless as it has spectacular views that will make you wonder why it is not considered one of the wonders of the world. After lunch, we will travel to Merzouga and Overnight Stay in a Desert Camp. Merzouga is truly in the heart of the desert. Here we will climb Our camels and cross the Erg Chebbi Dunes and end up in a Berber camp in the desert where we will spend the night. In this desert camp, you will enjoy dinner and breakfast in the morning before completing the last day of our 3 days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert.
