Continue to Fes, where a guided visit of the ancient medina reveals a fascinating maze of history, culture, and authentic Moroccan life.

Travel onward to the Sahara Desert, where you will ride camels across the golden dunes alongside Berber nomads and spend an unforgettable night in a desert camp under a sky full of stars, enjoying traditional Berber music around the fire.

Along the way, discover the breathtaking landscapes of the Ziz Valley, the dramatic Todra Gorges, and the fragrant Rose Valley. Visit the legendary Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before crossing the stunning High Atlas Mountains.

Finally, arrive in the vibrant “Red City” of Marrakech, where your unforgettable Moroccan adventure comes to an end.

Tour Plan :

Day 1: Pick up from Tangier – Chefchaouen

Upon arrival at Tangier Port or Tangier Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide. We begin our journey towards Chefchaouen, also known as “Chaouen,” located in the stunning Rif Mountains within a protected natural biosphere reserve.

Chefchaouen is famous for its white and blue-painted buildings, peaceful atmosphere, and welcoming locals. The city offers beautiful streets, authentic handicrafts, and a sense of tranquility rarely found elsewhere. Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Moulay Idriss – Fez

After breakfast, we depart Chefchaouen and head toward Fez, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and home to one of the oldest universities in the world.

On the way, we visit the well-preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis, followed by a panoramic view of Moulay Idriss, the holiest city in Morocco, where we will have lunch.

In the afternoon, we continue to Fez, where you can enjoy a sunset view over the medina walls or relax with a welcome tea on the riad terrace. Dinner and overnight stay in Fez.

Day 3: Fez – Ifrane – Middle Atlas – Cedar Forest – Midelt

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of the Fez Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its labyrinthine alleys and traditional artisan quarters.

We then travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, often called “the Switzerland of Morocco,” before continuing through the cedar forest, home to wild Barbary macaques.

We continue our journey to Midelt. Dinner and overnight stay in Midelt.

Day 4: Midelt – Merzouga Desert – Camel Trek – Desert Camp

After breakfast, we cross the High Atlas Mountains and enter the vast landscapes of southern Morocco. The scenery becomes more dramatic, with palm groves, rocky formations, and the beautiful Ziz Valley.

Upon arrival in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara, we switch to camels for a trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.

You will witness a breathtaking desert sunset before heading to the desert camp, where you will enjoy traditional Berber music, dinner, and a magical night under the stars.

Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

After breakfast, we leave the desert and head to Rissani, where we may visit the traditional local souk (especially on market days: Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday).

We then continue to the impressive Todra Gorges, known for their dramatic canyon walls and stunning natural beauty, followed by a short walk and lunch.

In the afternoon, we proceed to the Dades Valley, famous for its landscapes and fig trees. Dinner and overnight stay in the valley.

Day 6: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, enjoy panoramic views of the Dades Valley before continuing through the Rose Valley and the palm groves of Skoura.

We arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where we visit the famous film studios.

We then explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, featured in many international films such as Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.

In the afternoon, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping for photos along the way before arriving in Marrakech around 6:00 PM. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad.

Day 7: Marrakech – Airport Transfer

After breakfast, enjoy free time in Marrakech depending on your flight schedule. At the agreed time, transfer to the airport for your departure. This marks the end of our 7-day desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech.
